Presented by Underhill House
Sunday, April 27, 4–5 pm via Zoom
(Zoom link will be shared by email before the event to the address used in registering.)

A prolific writer, Evelyn Underhill lived from 1875 until 1941 and is known best as a spiritual guide and retreat leader at Pleshey in England. Denying the label mystic that others pinned on her, she taught that we are all created to experience the Holy directly, that the mystic way is the spiritual way open to us all.

Join us at our virtual open house to learn more! Underhill House Executive Director, Phil Fox Rose, will provide an interesting and detailed introduction to Evelyn Underhill, as well as recount the inspiring Underhill House origin story. Before the hour concludes, he’ll also lead us through the active listening practice used at Underhill House. We’ll make sure to leave enough time for all your questions regarding how you can incorporate Underhill House into your weekly routine, or perhaps introduce active listening to your church or spiritual community.
